Buenos Aires to Santiago,Chile (SAEZ - SCEL)

"sunrise"
Santiago.
What a beautiful leg to fly. Gorgeous sunrise pushing us across the continent towards the Pacific west coast and Chile. As soon as we crossed into Chilean airspace the ground terrain below changes rapidly and the Andes mountains rushed up to meet us. I had probably started my descend a bit to early as the snow covered caps of Mount Tupungao already sit at 21 555ft seemed a bit to close for comfort and gave some concern to the passengers.

There was already some concern in the back of the aircraft as I seem to have not been aware of a steady decrease in cabin ppressure during the flight and just could not figure out how to reverse it! Some slightly hypoxic passengers.

Aerolineas Argintinas AR1280

 737NG:

Started with a new company Aerolineas Argintinas who operate one daily flight between Buenos Aires and Santiago. Most of the time it runs on schedule.

Aerolíneas Argentinas, formally Aerolíneas Argentinas S.A., is Argentina's largest airline and the country's flag carrier. The airline was created in 1949 from the merger of four companies, and started operations in December 1950. Wikipedia

Routing

Some very good vectoring that had me slide between weather fronts and mountains for a northerly approach into Santiago.

Weather& Scenary:

Beautiful skies with some passers by to keep me company

Airport Scenary

The cargo section of SAEZ is "detached" from the main terminal. If you dont pick up, AI have commercial flights assigned to its stand in the Tropical Sim rendition. It might be worth assigning proper categories to each stand if you want to be flying in here regularly and don't want to bus your passengers halfway across the airport.

Cost To Date:

TropicalSim - Buenos Aires Ezeiza SAEZ 2013 FSX   £17.50
